See, if some backwoods Kilgore Trout wrote a story, published it on a Xerox, and had his readership spike at four among the homeless insane, he'd probably be allowed to have a Wiki about it because people, not having heard of it and being unable to claim to have read all the books in the world, cannot say whether it's valid or not.
With a webcomic, however, it's so much simpler. People can simply say 'I don't read that one. It isn't valid.' and hit the OMGDELETE button. Ironically, people on the Wikipedia project are thus discounting something's credibility purely because it exists in a digital medium.
Ay. Just goes to show. Even on the bleeding edge of informational neosociology, asshats still roam the earth.
Don't look at me. I haven't added anything to Wikipedia in almost a year. :) Seems I'm now important enough to have a comics listing, and a vanity listing. :)

Grats on the recognition, hon. You deserve it. :)
