dolariSaw Dora and the Lost City of Gold tonight.
1) That movie was way way WAY better than it should ever have been. They knew EXACTLY what kind of movie this needed to be and gave us something that was educational, funny for kids, funny for adults, and genuinely swashbuckling.
2) Representation matters. Ten Year Old Jenn would have loved the movie about a young fun loving know it all hispanic girl (and extended hispanic cast!) as much as Forty Five Year Old Jenn did. It really hit home. :)
