So I told myself I was going to have a celebratory dinner at the end of my first day of work.

But my first day ended early because we were snowed in. Day 2? Went home after three hours because of snow. Day 3? Went home two hours early, again, because of snow.

I've decided I'm going to have the celebratory dinner at the end of the first day I work 8 hours period, whenever that happens.
