dolariKind of concerned again. After replacing the hard drive, the computer has blink-rebooted three times during intensive hard drive work. Two more attempts at the backups have failed, and even one blink-reboot just starting a movie to watch.
Beginning to think something else has gone wrong with the PC, and my money is a power surge from the power outages we had a few weeks ago. That's when it all went south.
Actually waiting for another blink-reboot to see if I get a BSOD. I can at least narrow it down from that.
