Aug. 20th, 2020 12:45 pmPicked up a copy of "Street Fighter Anniversary Edition 'International'" for Switch from the Japanese eShop. Why, when I already have the original edition? Because the difficulty levels for SSF2T are different between the US and Japan.
The Japanese difficulty is basically what all the console versions are based on, while the US difficulty was only used in American arcade machines (the thinking there, if I remember right, was Capcom USA thought SF2 was getting kind of played out, and the only people playing were the experts).
While i was really good at SSF2T in the arcades, that was 30 years ago, and after 30 years of console SSF2T, the arcade version is not impossible, but a whole lot less fun.
