As a Font Junkie™ – which is like an addict – I have to work really, really hard to not add to my font collection. I'm proud to say I have only 398 fonts (according to Font Book). And I have difficulty managing even that number. I try to be picky – and I generally steer clear of free font collections (for the same reasons that I steer clear of bookstores).

I'm pretty sure I'd be overwhelmed with 900 or 2600 fonts. 🤔

And it's certain that I'm a Font Junkie... because nearly all of the fonts that I've added in the last couple of years – I've purchased. Only fanatics buy fonts when there are so many free options. 🤔

In several cases, I've held off buying specific font families for years because of budgetary considerations, and some free alternatives...were not sufficient to the purpose.

I worked at a Kinko's for a year, so anytime someone came in with their own fonts, I copied them to our systems. And before I left, I copied THOSE to my personal system knowing I'd need them for the comics.

And then I found Larabie fonts, and added THOSE to the mix cause they were free. :D
