Jan. 21st, 2021 03:29 amThis laptop was bought basically to be a "portal" to the desktop computer and internet. So I cheaped out and got the lightest ultraportable I could. Unfortunately, that meant that the drive this came with was a criminally small 64GB, and Windows 10 quickly ate almost three quarters of that.
Went ahead and reinstalled ArchLinux as the only OS on my laptop. Got mostly the same functionality and it ate just a third of the drive. PLUS LINUX LIKES MY IN-ROOM NETWORK. No more routing through the WiFi no matter what. Likely a WINS issue.
