Apr. 20th, 2021 10:32 pmSomething I find somewhat disturbing is the US News basically saying how great things are going in the US Coronavirus wise. Numbers are up in the US, but so are vaccination, and things are looking up.
But I watch Canadian news as well. And through Canadian news, I'm watching Canada getting smashed hard by Coronavirus, and Brazil's hostpial system on the verge of collapse.
I often talk about how I watch international news to get "all sides" of a story. Usually, that's for politics. But it's also because US News is INCREDIBLY insular, and we usually don't hear news from the outside world unless it's earth-shattering.
