As a child, no. There was one moment I remember asking my mother about clothes a certain actress was wearing, but Mom replied with a simple "Those are girl clothes, you can't wear them" and just kinda going along with it.
It wasn't until I was about 10 I knew SOMETHING was wrong, and wasn't until I was 15 or 16 that I knew WHAT was wrong. So as a child no.
