I think about this a lot. A whole lot. Up until, say, five years ago, EVERYTHING I did was was to try and complete my transition. I threw away good careers, college education, everything to get this stupid gender stuff fixed.
Who would I have been if I was cis? Male or female? I likely would have had better grades in school, gone to a better college (maybe even FINISHED college). I could have been a lot more successful like most of my friends, instead of struggling like most folks twenty years younger than me.
I think about this a lot. It's not always a good think.
