Jun. 26th, 2021 03:28 amSo, final thoughts on Jollibee. 🙂
First, I wish I'd know about this. They have re-heating instructions! I booked it from Renton to Duvall to try to make sure this stuff stayed hot. https://jollibeeusa.com/reheat/
Fried Chicken - TOPS. I love Church's Fried Chicken, and this is right up there. Also, love the extra gravy dipping sauce, which was also really good. I really wish I'd known about this place when I lived in Renton.
Mashed Potatoes - Super good. A little dense, but once you're done dipping, the extra gravy goes a long way.
Pineapple Drink - Maybe it's because I was raised in America, but I'm always a huge fan of when something says it's a fruit-flavor and it TASTES like a fruit flavor instead of colored sugar. SOOO good.
Mango/Peach Pie - As I am diabetic, THIS WAS DANGEROUS CAUSE I WOULD EAT THEM ALL THE TIME. Again, it says it's peach, says it's mango, and I can taste it. :9
Jolly Spaghetti - I....I can see why this is a thing. The spaghetti was good, and I loved the spices they put in it...but I'm not a fan of sweet tomato sauce (I put salt on my pizza). And this isn't just sweet, it's sugary. I can see why people would love this. Those people are not me. Also, the picture showed what looked like cheese on the sauce and I didn't see any on mine.
Ube Pie - I did like the taste, but I'm not a fan of the texture of yams, and I totally forgot ube was a yam. I'm sure it's good if you like yams. 🙂
I would TOTALLY do this again. The fried chicken alone is worth the side trip if I'm in the area. And I'd like to try some of the other stuff on there like the palabok and burger steaks....
