You know what I miss? Cheap steakhouses. You're not gonna get a top of the line steak at Bonanza/Ponderosa/Hoss's/Sizzler, but their menus tended to be "Salad, Steak and Potatoes" and because that was it, they were pretty good at it.

I can get a ribeye and potatoes from the grill down the street, sure. But I'm gonna pay $50 for it. And it'll be worth $50. But for quick-cheap-goodness, I gotta go almost fifty miles for a Golden Corral, and that just doesn't really count....

I do remember the first two brand names of steak house chain. From childhood. And yeah, the steaks were good.
