I try very hard to keep an even hand in my fandoms, and with one notable exception (Sorry, Suzanne, your shows are very powerful), I tend to do that. Because of that, I'm not afraid of "friending" people involved in those fandoms via social media, even if I only know their names.

I realize they are people like any others, and that their time is their time and not mine to monopolize or intrude upon, and that often, my fandom is their 9 to 5 routine. And as a friend told me once, a healthy respect for boundaries occasionally gets you invited into those boundaries.

Thanks for allowing me get a glimpse of the otherside, y'all. And I do mean "y'all." ❤️
