One of the more creepy things about having smart lights is that they occasionally need system updates. And when that happens, the lights reboot. And how do they reboot? Turn off, then turn back on.

Which my brain parses as "Someone in a black coat just walked through your hallway."

At least they do it themselves. Could be worse.
