Captain Pike is sure making Kirk look like a jar head. He's awesome.

Also,loving that the arc story for this season, what little of out there is, is a very personal one for Pike, and not a universe threatening puzzle.

Also,I hate to say it, but Leonard Nimoy and Tim Russ are still the only actors to get Vulcans "right."

In Peck's defence, he's trying to get the spirit of younger Spock right, and with the source material going all over the place as it was being produced, from "The Cage" onwards...?
