I'm beginning to think my Ancient Roman cookbook is...well...wrong. I got it decades ago before there were a bunch of cooking shows with old Roman recipes. The book's recipes are so so so different and just straight up odd (savillum with cheddar cheese? Not ricotta?) compared to those shows (and even just various webpages I've found), that I'm looking for books that are a bit more authentic. Any suggestions?
