Dean took us for a walk down 37th street, where all the Christmas lights are. When I moved from PA, I had no idea what I was getting myself into moving to the dead center of 37th, but from November to January, I had my own winter wonderland. It was hell to get home sometimes (I had to get in line with the rest of the gawkers just to get into my parking lot), but if I ever felt down about the holidays, a few feet down the ways was the biggest party of lights in Austin.

I miss that a lot. I really want to move back at my first opportunity. If I could stay in Texas, 37th is where I'd stay.

Grrrrr

Jenn - I'm posting this here because I didn't know where else to get to you and I don't want to send this through office e-mail. I just tried to access AWFW and Closetspace at work

This site http://www.dragondata.com/~dolari/awfw/ has been categorized as Sex according to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX's Code of Conduct for Internet Usage

I find it odd that this web site generated no complaints until after a strip was put up honoring Transgender Day of Rememberance. This company won an Outstanding Employer Award from the L/G/B/T community this year for it's outreach to transgender employees so I find it highly offensive that your sites are being blocked. Can we say hypocrites?

I have a funny feeling that the homophobe behind me who regularly drones that Queers offend God and are going to hell may have seen the page when I left my desk and reported it. In any case, I think this rots.

Not much I can do on my end, unfortunately. You might want to try using http://www.attackcensorship.com to get around your firewall, or try accessing http://www.dolari.org or http://www.dolari.net directly, since it should resolve to it's own name, and not redirect via Dragondata.

And tell the homophobe that he got a wonderful comic, that gets good letters from God Fearing Christians, about a girl who wants to be an angel, banned as a sex site. :)

What was he thinking about that little girl that was so sexy! :D

Nope - they have http://www.attackcensorship.com/ blocked as Anonymizer/Translator.

Frankly, it's getting ridiculous. IT is out of control. As for the phobe - if it indicates discussion about anything outside of heterosexuality, he says that it's unnatural and an offense to God.

I should have reported his ass to HR a long time ago but the last time I stood up against such idiocy, I got charged with a bogus HR violation myself. It took two years before I got out from under that cloud of suspicion.
