[00:11] k1tana: Please stop mass IMming me.
[00:11] JRFIMH512: i can't
[00:11] JRFIMH512: youre on my list
[00:12] k1tana: Then take me off your list.
[00:12] JRFIMH512: ill just remove you from my friends list
[00:12] JRFIMH512: you are rude anyways
[00:12] k1tana: Bite me, Frodo
[00:12] JRFIMH512: whatever, nerd

Okay....all this guy has ever done is tell me how great at Mortal Kombat he is, and send me crappy mass IMs I never read. Who is the rude one here? The one who asked to please stop mass IMming? Or the one who is constantly mass IMing folks and gets angry when you ask them to stop?

Ye, GODS, I miss the Internet of 1994....

You mean back when spam was considered a fatal social faux pas rather than a useful marketing technique? Who opened the door (or was it a window) and let all these people in?

I kinda wonder how these people who use any old combination of letters and numbers:
1. remember said combination
2. think anyone is going to consider them as anything other than spammers

It's always funny to see those who are doing wrong get all uppity when you tell them to stop *eyeball roll*

The company got rid of all external IM programs because of problems with external message spammers and employees too stupid to know you don't click on instant message links - ever.

We now have an internal only message program that allows teams to have teams to chat, kvetch and help each other out. Until today, I thought it was a safe channel. Nope. Someone in one of our offices in Morracco has decided it is a great tool for picking up chicks...
