Date: 2005-12-08 03:31 am (UTC)Its' a phyrric victory anyway, because the centre lost their entire budget in the first settlement. All they managed was to shut themselves down and tarnish their reputation so now they can't do anyone any good.
Yeah Jenn, it's not all roses and pink triangles up here, but most of the time our bigots don't get this far without having to run a gauntlet of poor public opinion first. There's still lots that needs doing.

That entire story is a mess anyways. And this isn't the only case of the judicial system allowing discrimination, there is also the womens right to use the mens private lounge at some dumb golf club that was also making news and ALSO in BC.
Alberta is the equivilent of Texas in canada... And Quebec is Florida. hehe.
