I'm leaving Canada sometime Thursday. Trying to make a schedule for what I want to do before leaving, since I want to hit a place in the US before it closes.

LEaving Canada is always melancholy for me. For many years, I aimed at the Vancouver area being my home. While it didn't happen, I still feel more connected here than I do back in Washington.

I don't want to flee the US should the federal government go the way of Florida and Texas. But if I do, I hope I could make Vancouver my home again. It FEELS like home, still....

I did do Vancouver proper today, but it was just to catch a quick meal (Gotta have my Montreal Smoked MEat Sandwich and PROPER poutine), then headed out to the US. I was trying to get to Edaleen Dairy before they closed, so I could get a personal treat from them to bring home.
