Ruminations on a long night.
Jan. 7th, 2006 05:48 amI don't like looking into mirrors. Never have. And so what I can to avoid them. I looked in one today, and while one of the faces looking back was finally barely palatable, two others now look back that I am desperate to get rid of.
Does the fight ever end?

Date: 2006-01-07 04:51 pm (UTC)Over time, the mirror and I have had a chance to make up, even get comfortable with each other. This is not, however, to say that everything is good between us! I still look at it and find myself frustrated by my weight and such, or other things that, well, I wish were different. I guess I've just learned to live with it all, or to deal a bit better with the rough spots.
Cheers,
Gwen Smith

Date: 2006-01-08 03:50 am (UTC)although the post confuses me..
obviously the two others are something psychological because if I ever saw two other ppl in a mirror that weren't standing beside me I would have my entire house wired with video cameras.
