Poor Deyus. I really NAILED his look in the first panel (he's supposed to have non-earthly huge eyes...almost like a grey), but anytime I drew him after that, he ended up with big Cute Puppy Dog Anime Eyes. so I ended up blearing them out in the "glare" he makes. And yes, Deyus is a he. And speaks in Copperplate.

This just in: The LJ AWFW feed, as far as I can tell, is STILL dead. We'll see if a new comic worms its way through the feed.

So what shows up at my inbox today, but "Would you mind working temporarily with us while you look for more work?" Consdiering that one job I really want is a month away at the earliest, I think things are looking up.

One of the problems with pairing the LJ friends down...now there's not as much to read.

Heh. Little known fact... "Pita" has been a nickname of mine for years, due to the fact that my family - with their Boston / New England accents - pronounces my name "pee-duh." I, for obvious reasons, shortened that to "Pita."
