A quick note before bed. It's incredibly strange to come home in 40 degree weather, with light JUST peeking through the clouds, a school bus driving up to your house, and the smell of breakfast and then the music frmo NBC Morning News (which has never changed). Suddenly, it's 1985 all over again, and it's time for school.
More later, when I get a real computer here working.

It was somewhere in the mid 1980s that the music DID change.

I can't remember what the music was before. It wasn't composed by Williams, and was a bit more utilitarian I believe.

I also can't remember the last time I watched NBC News. It was quite a bit before Brokaw retired.
