Comic Updated! AWFW. The AWFW feed MIGHT be coming back under a different name.

I was just gonna do another three panel comic...but this episode BEGGED to have all these episodes shown at once. And when I started drawing, I just couldn't put the pencil down. I was literally finishing a panel, and throwing the paper behind me to start the next one. I THOUGHT there were Nine panels, but I marked Panel #6 as 6 AND 7. Oops. Just made that last panel #8 a little wider than normal.

Originally, it was just going to be the Dialog in Panel 1 and the last two lines at the end of Panel #8, but the prayer came to me as I was drawing. Hanna wanted to make it seem like she was praying for Andrea, but that as the prayer went on, we would realize it was Emm'a she was praying about.

Something I also wanted to show was that Hanna still has her pigtail. When I first drew her, I never thought about that pigtail till it came time to draw the tribal story, and suddenly I was stuck with the fact that we'd never seen it before. Then I remebered the Jedi Padawans tucked it behind their ears. So now that's what she does.

When I see this episode, This Music Plays.

This scene has haunted me for four years. I'm glad to finally have it out there. This episode officially closes out Book I of AWFW, and finishes the original story I came up with in 2001. I can now tell my English Teacher - I FINISHED SOMETHING.

The next episode is actually a little experiment. Enteracte will be a quick few episodes about what made Emm'a turn thirty years ago. It will show what makes her turn, without showing the actual turn. In the AWFW book, though, we will show what's on the website, and then the actual turn. You can read the website and still figure it all out, without buying the book, but the book will have that little bit extra. :)

So. Now that I've closed out the major first part of the story...what do you think? Seriously?

Your enthusiasm and love of your work shows very much in not just the stories themselves, but in the way you write about how you created them. And I for one would like to buy your book when it comes out, so I'll keep my eyes open for when it'll be available.

Thanks. I love seeing the Behind the Scenes stuff in movies, so I figured I'd give copious amounts of that when I did my story.

Oh, I must have missed that somehow...thank you for pointing it out. I have to agree, I like seeing "behind the scenes" things, it gives one an appreciation for how these things get made. Learning about how the Walt Disney cartoons were made and about how Charles Schulz did his strips and TV specials gave me more of an appreciation for cartoons and comic strips, as well as inspiring me to fill up thousands of sketch pads from when I was younger up to the present day.

it's good. A little hard to see the braid, but I did figure it out.

Although... Maybe with Andrea being brought in the way she is, Hanna might feel free to cut it off.

The entire story has been riveting, but the ending was magnificent! I just about cried while reading it. I eagerly await more.
