SFJenn has been updated for the first time in 8 years. Cause someone actually still plays it. :) http://www.dolari.net/sfjenn

There's some nice stuff coming up about this soon, but I'm not gonna steal it's thunder.

I wish I understood the instructions better (or could remember all the different ways to attack/block!), cuz then I'd prolly start playing and never stop :)

What wasn't clear? It'll help me make the FAQ clearer.

This is prolly due to my total ignorance more than anything else ... but ... where do I find the actual game?? Here I am in SFJenn1.5a, looking at all sorts of little icons that say C1, C2, C3, C4 etc ... CHUNLI ... adho ... BALROG and BISON ... but nothing says "Hey! Hey, you - yeah you! Double-click HERE, and the game will start!"

I opened up "Setup" and found where I can assign my own commands to the keys (JUMP=ESC, if I like), and stuff like that ... but where's the game?

You kids today, don't read the manuals at all, do ya? :)

SFJENN.EXE is the program to run, although it may not play too well in Windows XP. Officially from the manual:

-=System Requirements=-
Microsoft Virtual Machine: Install DOS 3.3 or greater. You must have at least
920k (640k conventional+280k XMS) Unzip the entire contents of this file into
a directory of your choice, and run SFJENN.EXE. Use SETUP.EXE to configure
your sound settings.

DOSBox: Set the CPU Cycles to 3250. Unzip the entire contents of this file
into a directory of your choice, and run SFJENN.EXE. There are issues with
fonts with DOSBox. Use SETUP.EXE to configure your sound settings.

DOS: You must have at least 920k (640k conventional+280k XMS) and VGA graphics
card. Soundblaster compatible cards are not necessary, but recommended. Unzip
the entire contents of this file into a directory of your choice, and run
SFJENN.EXE. There are issues with fonts with DOS.

ohhhh ... ya mean THAT was the manual. Gotcha. I actually did read that, but since I don't know what kind of DOS I have or how to find out, none of it really made any sense. I don't have a virtual Windows machine, I have a real one right here in front of me; I don't think I have a DOSBox; so I guess I have DOS. What's a directory and how do I choose one? But it might not matter anyway because looking over the specs on my computer, nowhere does anything say "VGA" graphics card: it just says "integrated." *shrug* I feel like I'm too ignorant to play.
