When I created Andrea's angel costume I based it on Nakoruru...I never guessed I'd be creating Andrea OUT of Nakoruru. :)

the title makes perfect sense to me. Look up "hash tables" in the computer science context and it will make sense to you.

nope. still greek to me. i have a very loose idea on what a hash table is, but this is coupled up i think with another kind of reference (maybe anime or something). so i'll let it be. but thanks for trying.

Well...

1) I cut of Nakoruru's head and put it aside, adding a mask and a headdress.

2) I took everything on her that was white or off-white and made it black or white. I repainted all the red trim that wasn't on the front of her kimono white.

3) Took the red trim on the front made it black and white.

4) Pasted the head back on.

Repeat about 10 times. :)

Thankfully I didn't make it. Some folks in Korea made a really terrible version of Street Fighter II. Genuinely terrible. But they did something most games don't do - they left the datafiles unoptimized. Anyone could look in these datafiles and figure out what they meant (after a while).

By the time I came along, everything was down to a science on that game, and the Koreans who out out "better" versions still never optimized their files, so our plug-in stuff kept working.

I just took all the info that had been made over the years about the game and applied them to Kitana and Mileena. From what I've heard, I was the first person to add non-SF Characters to the game (Vega and Balrog were made by Derek and Brian a few months before).
