dolariI love it when a plan comes together. One of the major points going into the 3rd quarter of AWFW is the location of the Shadow HQ, and how infested the Earth is with the Shadows. This episode (Riding in the Hand of God) is basically tying up the Earth-bound Andrea plot threads, and setting up new ones as Andrea becomes an Angel. The next two or three involve the near-legendary status of the Shadow HQ among the Angels.
Originally, that was gonna be Gastonia NC, keeping with the "People, Places and Things in my Life" scripting (a line said by an ancient Greek angel: "In my world, we had no name for this wretched place other than Beyond The Great River. Your culture called it 'Gastonia.'") JMS had his San Diego, I have my Gastonia.
But recently, I've decided to go to a much less personal place not so infested with nasties (the Nasties Hiding in Town was WAY too reminiscent of Mage II's Toronto). Ever hear of Skinwalker Ranch? If you have, you know what's there. :)
