As of right now, I'm still going to Trinoc, but it's on a serious shoestring budget.

A few days ago Dean broke a tooth while having dinner. He was expecting to have a quick crown made up and we'd be off on Friday or Saturday at the latest.

He's getting three root canals on the 19th. Poor guy.

Needless to say, with the money he's spending on surgery, he's canceling the trip. But he's also spending the money to buy me a last minute plane ticket to Trinoc, which keeps me on track for the convention.

Unfortunately, with some last minute changes to the rooming arrangement due to missed communications, I'm VERY near the point that I'm going to have to cancel the convention. I'm already spending saved rent money for extra hotel rooms, but now the car we were supposed to have is gone, so we're taking the bus since I doubt I'm going to afford taxis to and from the convention at this rate. Good news is that I have $60 waiting for me at the con, but I'm sure I'll be spending that while I'm there.

Hopefully there won't be anymore crises because at this rate, I'll simply have to cancel the con straight up.

Well, it's 3 root canals, total, I guess. One on the 19th, but it has to be done ASAP. RIP, vacation.
