Saturday 1PM at the Dogwood Room - Muse or Money - Inspirations and Motivations - Classically, it is the Muse that inspires the artist, but in the real world money is generally the biggest the motivator. Are there other methods of inspiration and motivation? Are there tricks to motivate yourself when you are feeling less than inspired? What does it take to get an artist out of bed in the morning? Saturday 2PM at the Dogwood Room - Webcomics Summit - The State of Webcomics Today (or Are Webcomics Still the Punk Rock of Comics?) - Perhaps in the beginning webcomics were the Punk Rock of comics, but now it looks like we are sailing into respectability of Indie territory. Can corporate soul selling be far behind? Topics to be discussed will be Clickwheel, webomics for the iPod. Podcasts on webcomics. OhNoRobot, the search engine for webcomic dialogue. Webcomic criticism. Webcomic collectives: Does Size Matter? The webcomic market, what's working and what isn't? Can webcomics finally be considered an industry or just a bunch of hopeful hobbyists? Moderated by Jamie Robertson, with Sherri Belmar, Loren Coven, Greg Eatroff, Barb Fischer, Stephanie Freese, Chris Hazelton, Larry Holderfield, Gene Kannenberg, Erin Lindsey, Chris Lowrance, Diana Cameron McQueen, Dave Milloway, Van Plexico, Jason Siebels, Elizabeth Troub, Kevin Volo and Matt Wood.

Sunday at 1PM at the Sandalwood Room - ComicSans is French for "NotFunny" and Other Technical Issues in Webcomics - How to Create Webcomics - Topics to be discussed include, Webcomic collectives, BW vs. Color, what graphic software to use, what is the best hosting, font selection, speech bubbles, hosts, formatting, gag-a-day vs. epic, hand drawn vs. computer, print vs. the web and most importantly, where is the money? Moderated by Kevin Volo with Elizabeth Troub, Larry Holderfield, Jamie Robertson, Loren Coven and Erin Lindsey

Most of the other time, I'll be flitting about the con, or at my table in the Artists' Alley in Grand Ballroom IV (Friday 3-7PM and 9-Midnight, Saturday 8:30AM to 6PM, Sunday 8:30 to Noon). I might also get drafted to other panels (it happened in 2004, could happen in 2006!), so just keep a look out for the really fat Mexican chick in the big skirt.
