Yeah, I'm thinking our next digital camera is gonna be a Canon. Our current one (a 2000 Kodak) uses CompactFlash, and Canon is one of the few manufacturers who didn't instantly abandon CF for the newer, smaller card formats (I guess that's a benefit of being used by professionals, who don't care for pointless, marketing-driven changes to their equipment).

I was a big fan of the Canon Powershot A85, which used Compact Flash. It's an older model, so it should be cheap. I decided to upgrade to the A530, which uses an SD card (and only 16MB! That's why I upgraded to 2GB). All my digital cameras have been Canon (as well as my scanners), including my old film camera...they've never done me wrong.
