Tonight as I was doing laundry I cam3 across the first bra I ever owned. A 46C simple little thing. Back then I didn't have the heart to go back to Walmart and buy another, so from 1997 to about 2004 it was the only bra I everhad.
At first, I wore some foam falsies given to me by my friend Steph as a birthday present. Once I started hormones, and my breasts started developing, they managed to fill out the falsies, and then the cups on their own.
Being trans, I'm incredibly lucky. When I finally decided to get some new bras, I measured myself...many time...because I couldn't believe the tape. 54D.
My father's mother was very very well endowed, and it seems that I inherited those genes. They still are rather conical and not teardrop shaped, so thet DO have a ways to go yet. Although walking by my bathroom, and seeing my shadow on the opposite wall, those things sure make a nice shadow. I'm not proud of much on my body, but at least I got hair and boobs (not necessarily n the same place).
I've still got a few years growth, and what's going on now is more "reactivation" than new growth. But lemme tell ya - that poor old 46C bra has seen better days, and I'm retiring it.
Is there some kind of WomanLaw about this? Does it need to be burned at sundown with Taps playing?

Date: 2006-09-23 08:06 am (UTC)I'm a 42 DD, and it's not pleasant. Particularly since I actually have a nasty latex allergy, and most bras have latex in the elastic and don't entirely cover said elastic. Yuck.
I'm going to ask for pictures. I'd show you pictures of my first bra, but I gave it to my little sister (who's about as big around the waist as I am at the thigh) who used it to get someone to leave her alone, and it got confiscated.

Date: 2006-09-23 08:12 am (UTC)I think part of me is terrified that I'll wake up and there'll be a horrible bra shortage, so I keep my spares just in case.

Nah. I'm just lazy.
