The first five minutes to Richard Donner's version of Superman II are now online - frankly, I like this a LOT better than "Oops, I tripped over a bear."

Date: 2006-09-27 09:59 pm (UTC)Superman II, though, was truly two different movies. Richard Donner filmed about 80% of Superman II, which was then completely refilmed by Richard Lester. Only scenes with Gene Hackman are from the original footage (and the battle on the moon). I've always found Superman II to be really campy, more so than Superman I. I'm glad to see a non-campy version of S2 is coming out. :)
