I wonder when I'll be waking.
It's just that there's so much to do
And I'm tired of sleeping.
No update yesterday. Live Journal was all funky. Doesn't matter, yesterday wasn't very much fun at all.
I take that back - yes. Yes it was. Why? I got my copy of Dragon's Lair/Space Ace and Dragon's Lair II. Dear god, those are fun games, and bring me back. Dragon's Lair was one of the first video games that ever really sucked me in. Beautiful animation, engrossing game play. How could a girl of nine turn away from it?
Well...they did...but that didn't stop me. :)
I couldn't get passed the first stages at first, and as I got older, I managed to get farther, but I never finished the game.
At 1PM, today, at the age of twenty seven, I finished Dragon's Lair. For the first time. Personal victory. Now onto Space Ace. :)
LAter in t he day, I had some quality time with Erin and Marca. I really enjoy their company, and are very very understanding people. We talked about our new Game Boy games (Marca adores Lemmings), The Ex, The New Girl and some of the recent terrible tribulations I've been going through. It was Marca who said I shouldn't look at my move home as a failure...but as recuperation. A chance to lick my wounds before going on. Marca has a unique view of life. One that I wish I had.
I fixed a computer. Manually got in t there and made a machine that worked. I was SO happy doing it. I really was. I forgot how much I enjoyed helping people work with their computers. I miss it.
I'm considering working on a new pic. One that fits my story lines very well, and would be an expression of my own rage at the world, through the actions of a character. I think I'll give it a shot.
Primal Rage therapy also sounds very good right about now....
