An intro to the upcoming article I'm writing for the Prism LGBT Comics Annual:

In all the millions of conventions I've had the pleasure of speaking at over the last three centuries, inevitably, the following question always comes up:

"Where are the bathrooms?"

After pointing out that it's down the hall, second door on the left, I usually tack on, "By the way - wouldn't you like to hear how I became an international superstar in the webcomics business?" At this point they run screaming down the hallway like their hair is on fire. Sometimes, if I start chasing them, they'll throw stuff at me.
