Richard Donner's Superman II = The second act in a two act story.

I've always considered Superman II to be part two of Superman.

Not after the Richard Donner version. THAT is part two. The Richard LEster version is some wierd alternate universe sequel. :D

DVDs for Superman films I to IV have suddenly appeared in Big-W for $12.87 each! I checked, and II is the Lester version.

I must admit, I'm curious about the Donner version now. Still haven't seen the latest film, but by all accounts it deviates sharply from the comics.
