Okay, the lovley assistant is usually used to distract the audience while the magician does the sneaky part of the trick, but here the freakin' camera went off the guy! That's not a trick! that's not a trick at all!
Yeah, its NOT a trick when the camera shifts around to hide whats going on. It *IS* a trick when the whole thing is right in front of you and your being distracted so you miss the obvious. That, was just moving the camera around so you COULDN'T see the trick, which is the lamest trick of all.
Which is of course why magic on television almost always sucks, because editing and camera tricks can be invovled, which is weak.
It's not about the magic. :) In fact, later in the movie, they show the guy simply handing the cards off screen to someone who gives him the replacement.
Watch the movie again. Watch the guy's shirt. Keep an eye out for everything else. ;)
Why do you people all assume I didn't finish watching the video and missed the point? I watched it. And it was a lousy trick (or set of tricks) all dependant on cheating by moving the camera around. Not magic, not a trick. Just cheating, is all it is.
