The family emergency mentioned in the comic update will be in an upcoming entry. It hasn't happened yet, but soon will. Not looking forward to it. But it ate up all Sunday, and was for a good cause...but not looking forward to it at all.

The last week has been reworking on my SL property. Last Monday the plot behind my house went up for sale, and it was dirt cheap. I bought it without checking to see how it was laid out...and almost immediately regretted it. It was a long thin strip with a larger plot opposite my house. It fronted a railroad, so was probably meant more for putting up advertisements than building.

Rather than blight this place with MORE ads, I decided to make lemonade:

(Just a note, yes I know some textures are all screwy, I'm working on it)

The Picnic Area...

A pic of Aspasia Arliss, who built the binoculars and the BBQ Pit for the picnic area.

The Walkways...

The House...

Fun Stuff...

Emily and me riding our...ahem....hogs.

Enjoying a quick snuggle on Freshly Claimed Canadian Soil before the authories get to us on their kayak.

Thanks! It's amazing what you can do when the laws of physics and the cost of materials doesn't get in the way. :)

I want to come visit sometime. I like the fountain and walkway.

I'm rather proud of it. Not quite what I wanted, but a good decent facsimile thereof.

You should post some anti-ads. Things like "Hey, Read a Book" or "Hey, Hug a Kitty".

I'm glad...

...I have broadband to appreciate these. One day, when my hardware is improved, I will return to it.
