I'm sitting here at work, red bleary eyed, wanting so much to just drop my head on the table and sleep.
This lack of sleep thing is really getting to me. Ever since March, I've had a lot of trouble just getting to sleep. I'll toss and turn and just generally stare at the cieling whil emy body tells me "You're not tired yet."
Lately, I've been unable to sleep later and later into the night, while I'm still waking up at the same time. I've started taking to talking to folks into the wee hours when I'm finally tired enough for sleep, but I'm noticing that as soon as I get ready for bed, I "wake back up."
I really don't want to get back on the benadryl - it's not a lot of fun waking up tasting metal in your mouth, but will prolly start it up again to help be get to sleep.
What really kills me is that on weekends? I can't just sleep in - my body wakes me up way too early, and won't let me sleep again.
So much tired, so little sleep.
