I did more than that, I saw all the episodes. :) Those episodes, in my view, were just bad. I'm noticing old-school Dr. Who watchers didn't like them, while newer watchers loved them.
I hope the next episodes are on the level of "Blink" and that Doctor as Human two parter.
Blink was great - and very low tech wrt special effects!
However, I have to admit - I have watched some of the older Doctor Who serials and just cannot get into them. Cheeeeeezy and totally different style of acting.
I think "bullshit" is kind. There were some great episodes this year, but the story arc in the last three was just all kinds of lame.
RTD needs to go. Time for a new producer who'll rein in the worst tendencies the current regime's been displaying.
And for god's sake let's get away from the humans for a bit! Have we had a single episode that wasn't set on Earth, a human colony, or a human spaceship?
The closest we came was "The End of the World" and even that episode was totally terracentric.
