PRO: The Death Star would see Unicron coming from a long ways away and warm up the Big Green Laser Of Doom to blow his ass up.
CON: After Grand Moff Tarkin died in the first Death Star, and the Emperor died in the second, nobody can actually say "fire at will!" and blast something with the BGLOD without the correct forms and notarized paperwork filled out, filed in triplicate and properly sorted. And by the time they locate Form 27/B, "Decimation Of Rapidly Approaching Omnivorous Sentient Planets Voiced By Orson Welles," Unicron's maw would be halfway to the garbage masher.
