Jul. 20th, 2007 04:26 pmRemember that thing I asked for a few months back? About some Star Wars figures I wanted to get, but were only at Celebration IV? Well, starwars.com finally decided to sell them through the website...so I picked them up:

I then took off the outer packaging....

Followed by ripping the front bubble off the cardback and poking the figures out of their safely housed nest....

Where they now sit, displayed in front of my monitor.

That's right. I broke the seals and opened the packages. I don't like keeping them carded and boxed up. No no no....
I PLAY WITH MY TOYS. :)
I once made a geek cry by buying a set of Jawa action figures and (After much whining and crying that he wanted them because they were rare mint on the box) ripping the package violently in front of him to get to the toys. He was bitter about it...but toys should be played with. Sure, even if you keep them in the packages to admire them, that's fine. But when you're buying toys to just hoard them (and then whining about it for the entire shopping trip)....I'll rip the packaging up in front of you. :D
