Jul. 25th, 2007 08:07 pmOne reason I love my Sidekick 3:

Unix shell access. On a mobile phone.
I wish I could do FTP from it. Uploading pics directly from the phone would be easier than Emailing to my shell account, saving it there, and moving it via FTP to my website.

Personally, I miss having an SSH client on my cell phone. My HTC Wizard had PocketPuTTY installed and it worked GREAT. Unfortunately, PocketPuTTY isn't really available for Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone and that's what my HTC Star Trek is running...

Ivan Stang; moldering away in my ancient PINE account on a dusty, dying server somewhere that once belonged to the first ISP in my area. Or deleted, but I'd like to think otherwise.
I remember Pine!
