I vote comic form. I know it will be difficult, but you have such an excellent grasp of the medium that for you to tell the story in prose would almost seem like a waste.

I'm actually leaning towards a novel or a serial short fiction, which could then be combined into a novel.

...with a comic book form on the side...

...and maybe an animated television saga...
