Was that clear Mylar, or was there a colour treatment to it? Am puzzling as to how you did that. And the UV I can understand; this would not have been good for either a CCD or eyeballs, for any length of time.
Aluminized mylar. Bought at Scientific Analytical for my surveyor telescope. During the 91 eclipse we had my telescope out, with mylar filter, a camera, with it's own mylar filter, three box viewers and a TV showing the eclipse from Mexico. We had 80% totallity - twilight came at 2PM. :)
And CCD? Haha, that's funny. This was an old 35mm camera. :D
