A Doctor Who Rarity
Oct. 27th, 2007 06:17 pmDimensions in Time. The story is completely and totally incomprehensible to the point it makes my brain hurt. But it's nice to see everyone again running willy nilly. It came out as a Children in Need Special in 1993 (four years after the first run of the show was cancelled) as a special celebrating 30 years of Doctor Who and I think 20 of Eastenders). I only ever managed to get a bootlegged copy just last year. Here's the "Story" (if you can call it that) off You Tube.:
Part One:
Part Two:
I miss Ace. Ace could kick Rose's ass three ways to Sunday.

So could Sarah Jane. Or Leela. Or whoever the hell it was that went around with number 6. Or pretty much any of the companions. They're all better than Rose. (well, except for the occassional male sidekick that popped up from time to time, but they never lasted long...) Rose is about the one I like the absolute least. Trying to do romantic tension with the Doctor, bleh. He's like 800 years older than her!
Of course, I still haven't forgiven them for coming up with that one good Dalek, and then not bringing it along. It would have been a great companion, having to pretend to be evil every now and a again...
