First off, thanks for the LJ code.
Second, as classy (for game shows) as the 50s B&W ones were (though they made modern advertising-on-the-set seem subtle), that's how tacky the 70s ones were... my favorite being Match Game. It's a lil frightening that they WERE dressing up to be on the show, yet... egads, the hair and clothes. But games shows are great as cultural time capsules.
