I actually do have a curse: My temper. I inherited it from my dad, and its a real monster. Over the years, I've learned methods and excersizes to control it, and I keep it on a very tight leash. It almost never gets out. I can even use it to my advantage if I need it.

I've also learned it never goes away. And sometimes it gets loose. And when it does, there's no controlling it or catching it. And in the end, when it finally wears itself down, theres a lot of humiliation and apologizing.

A year ago, that same temper destroyed a seven year relationship and made the whole move to the Pacific Northwest moot. You'd think I'd have learned to control it better. Almost a year to the day it got loose again. Thankfully I got away from people before I completely made a fool of myself.

Sorry, everyone affected. I promise I'll be better in the morning....
