Basically determining who I could tell. At first, I wanted to come out to all my friends. It wasn't until someone I considered a very close friend decided my transition was a step too far, it turned into fretful decision who to tell and who not to tell.
I also kinda went semi-public with my friends in my senior year of highschool, which was 1991. While it didn't get out that I was trans, if it had, there was gonna be some blood. So there was that anxiety, too.
