I figured out the sound problem with iuVCR. PRoblem is - you can't do anything on the computer at ALL while it's recording or the sound goes bad. This is Bad. However, if I'm ON the computer, and recording, there's no reason I shouldn't be using VirtualDub which doesn't mess sound up while stuff is recording. So, iuVCR is just that - a VCR for when I'm away from the computer, and VirtualDub is an "I'm on the computer right now" alternative.
