You know, I can take most insults pretty well. I get called every name in the book when I can't fix your problem. But when you insult me over my voice, you hit below the belt.
There has to be more, as there's a line that really shouldn't be crossed. Is there not something that can be done in the future to prevent asswipes like this?!
It was basically some self-important bastard who called me to fix his PC. When he decided not to troubleshoot with me, I couldn't help him...so he took a cheap shot at me.
I get a LOT of "cheap shots" where people take out their frustrations on me, and I can handle them really well. It's part of the job. But when someone gets on my case because I don't "sound" like a Jennifer on the phone, it hurts. I get that at least once or twice a day on my job.
And when the caller decides to go on a complete tirade against me on that reason alone, it really really hurts.
I just read your previous entry. Don't worry, sweets - you're still precious in my book. :D
